SUMMER SHINNY

7 Sessions

Fridays at 6PM - Chase Arena

June 26 - August 14 (no Shinny on July 3)

Cost:

$125 (includes jersey if you don't already have one).

$50 Minnesota "DIBS" discount for coach volunteers.

FREE for LTP and non-travel team participants.

FREE for Mentors (Pee Wee and older

What are "dibs"? They are an integral part of the community hockey model, and are widely used in Minnesota community hockey programs.

Dibs are way to encourage volunteerism and helps to offset programming costs. Organizations use "dibs" to recognizes the value delivered by coaches and key volunteers.

How the DDP's Shinny "Dibs" work:

ANY parent who can commit to one of the following roles in the shinny program may use the discount code "DIBS" and get $50 off the registration for your skaters...allowing your Mite/Squirt child to play shinny for under $10 per session!

Club Shinny DJ: Play tunes on the Chase PA and get the barn rocking!

Vibe Captain: Help us bring fun back to the ice!

Shinny Referee: No prior referee experience necessary, and minimal skating ability needed (these are only Mites and Squirts). Should know basic rules of the game and be able to bend over a pick a puck up.

Chaos Coordinator: Adults to just ensure things are running smoothly on and off the ice. Examples include: help on with ice games/drills, help on the bench, help direct the players, ensure kids are safe & supervised in the locker rooms with skates that are tied properly, and help with many tasks off the ice for those with no on ice interest.
