April Tune Up Camp

In order to support local players of all abilities, as well as those who have National-Bound Club tryouts and/or CCM High Performance tryouts at NESC in April, the DDP is offering up 2 sheets of ice in early April for some non-contact scrimmages.

These sheets are open to ANY 2011 and older skater in the local area who is looking for a little free ice in early April.

STRUCTURE AND FORMAT:

We want players focusing on puck movement, read/react, and habit detail work in a non-contact setting.
We will start each day with 10-20 minutes of puck and stick "free play" for players to work on whatever skills they want.
We will end each day with a full-ice scrimmage.

What aged players are appropriate for this program?

2011 and older birth years.

WHAT THIS IS

These sheets are designed to let kids burn off nervous energy and stay loose during tryout season.
These are two sheets of FREE ice open to ANY 2011 and older birth year player, regardless of whether they are registered for the CCM High Performance tryouts.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

This is not designed to be a taxing on-ice environment. (We want a good, fun, quality skate that moves pucks at pace and keeps legs fresh.)
This is not in any way affiliated with USA Hockey, MA Hockey, any club or town affiliate, or the CCM High Performance Program.
These sheets have ZERO bearing on any tryout or evaluation and are designed for kids to play quality hockey in a supervised setting.
