Roosters Summer Program
Our membership is a year-round comprehensive Hockey IQ cirriculum designed to maximize your young athlete's potential. It includes on-ice tactical skills instruction, dryland instruction, and a multi-media interactive curriculum designed to make each player the best competitor, teammate, player, and leader they can be.
Ages
What aged players are appropriate for this program?
The 2024 Rooster player cohort is primarily 2010-2014 birth years.
We also have High School and College players who serve as on-ice"player/mentors" for our youth athletes. They wear full gear and will be demonstrating reps and drills for our youth athletes.
When
What time of the year does this program run?
Our 2024 "season" runs from Feb 1, 2024 to Dec 31, 2024.
- Remote programming, including the Hockey Think Tank zoom calls commence upon registration.
- In-person on-ice programming takes place in July and August.

Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
In addition to our in-person sessions, we will have ongoing instructional content, podcasts, film review, video instruction, and zoom calls.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
The Roosters are a tactical skills development team. We do not play formal games.
We instruct middle school players on how to build robust transferable skillsets that can allow them to seamlessly transition from competitve contact leagues in Squirt/Pee Wee to full checking leagues at Bantam and above.
Our summer cirriculum has ample "small area" compete games and scrimmages that allow for the development of hockey skills and hockey IQ.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
Included in the membership is a custom "home" and "away" jersey.
